Youth Soccer

The YMCA fall and spring soccer programs are progressive programs with age-specific levels.

Every child gets to play in a safe, exciting and fun atmosphere. We encourage fair play, positive competition, and family involvement.

Parents are encouraged to volunteer as coaches and helpers.

Care to Coach - If you love kids and have basic soccer knowledge, you can make an impact as a volunteer coach. Must have basic knowledge of youth soccer, and be the main contact/communicator for team families.  Children of parent coaches will not be charged for the season.

Equipment Needed: The YMCA provides jerseys. We strongly suggest shin guards for all ages. Cleats are suggested as well, sneakers are acceptable to play in if desired. Cleating must be 100% plastic. We recommend Play-it-again sports for your sporting purchases.

This year we will be utilizing PlayerSpace software and mobile app for all of our communication needs. This downloadable app will give you access to schedules, announcements, communication and more. All practice and games schedules will be available on the PlayerSpace platform.

This platform will also be used for weather delays/cancellations, and any other communication needs. Once registered, you will receive an email with necessary PlayerSpace information that will give you access to the software.

1-844-350-9630: This is our new toll free youth sports hotline number.  It will be updated on a regular basis for weather delays/cancellations and other pertinent information.  Please call this number and use the PlayerSpace platform for all communication needs.

Practices/Games Info:  The Tots teams will practice the first 30 minutes and play games the second 30 minutes of their scheduled game days/times.  All other age groups will practice one hour a week (Mondays or Wednesdays 4:30-7:00) based on their team schedule.  Games will be played Friday evenings from 5-7pm and Saturday mornings from 9am-1pm.  All schedules will be posted the week of August 26th.
