Kidz Gym
Jamerson Family YMCA KidzGym will be sure to keep your family moving! Enjoy the newest interactive games, a climbing wall, inflatables, and activities with friends, all while being cared for by qualified and trained YMCA staff! Children with a YMCA family membership ages 5 to 14 years old are encouraged to check out Kidz Gym.

Summer Day Camp
YMCA of Central Virginia Summer Camp offers kids from Lynchburg, Appomattox and Nelson County a safe, exciting, and memorable day camp experience. Kids have the opportunity to build self-confidence, independence, and creativity, and parents have peace of mind knowing your kids are in a safe and enriching camp environment. At Y day camp, campers make friends while learning the values of diversity and cooperation while having fun.
Family Swimming/Aquatics Playground
YMCA members can take a break from the heat and have fun in one of our four indoor pools.
The Jamerson Family YMCA has amenities for all ages, including a zero depth entry area for our smallest swimmers. Older swimmers will have a blast with the twisty slide and the water buckets and mushroom sprinklers are a family favorite.
Lap swimming and water play is available at both the Jamerson Family YMCA and the Downtown YMCA.
