Teen Center
The Downtown YMCA Teen Center offers a safe, friendly, and casual atmosphere for teens ages 12-18. We provide adult supervision and a fun place to hang out with friends. Our staff builds positive relationships with teens through games, special events, and programs created by teens and YMCA staff.
LEADERS CLUB
Teens will participate and engage in leadership training gaining valuable hands-on experience through volunteer opportunities, actively contributing to the enhancement of community services.
GAME NIGHTS
We believe all TEENS are special, each with the potential to bring unique and remarkable contributions to our world. That's why we give all teens the opportunity to shine during our game nights.
Beyond learning about the games and being competitive, participants will gain something even more valuable: the skills and behaviors necessary for teamwork.
Spring Break Camp 2024

- Lunch will be provided
Must be able to provide transportation to/from the center.
Field trip transportation will be provided.
Open to everyone from ages 13 to 18
TRIVIA NIGHT
Exercise your brain with themed trivia nights. Compete with your friends, win prizes and have fun!
Swim to Work
The YMCA of Central Virginia, Iron Lives and Lynchburg City Schools have joined forces to launch "Swim to Work," a six-week work readiness and training program that aims to take high school students (ages 16 and up) through the process of becoming certified lifeguards.
